About Us
Welcome. I am Sunni - a trauma counselor and educator - and I am Brian - a communicator and organizer. We are committed to offering rights-based services that promote resilient and sustainable communities in a world that demands our response.
Our Services
Our field of experience spans across the contexts of embodied trauma patterns; narrative-based support; communication ethics literacy; personality patterns; interpersonal, relational, family, intercultural, and organizational communication perspectives; communication for social change; and counselor education.
SenseMakes was designed, to open up a deeper understanding of, and participation in, 'the social' with communicative competency and effectiveness.
Counseling alone only works with a psychologized self - abstracted from the social.
But what if there is no self without the social?
How then do we participate more effectively in the social to have growth with Self?
